Cluster Relief HGV Driver - East London

Monday to Friday, 0600-1500. No Weekend or Overnights!

The successful candidate for this vacancy will operate across the East London cluster of our CCF branches, including Basildon, Borehamwood, East London, and Enfield. You will be contracted to your local branch and commuting to other branches is covered by expenses.

What will you be doing?
As a Relief HGV Driver for our CCF East London Cluster, you’ll be driving a range of vehicles (predominantly 26 and 32 tonne flatbed or curtain-side) to provide flexible cover for absence and sickness across our wider driving teams. By providing absence cover, logistical support/stock movement, and supplementing same-day deliveries, you will play a key role in the ongoing success of our nationwide distribution, ensuring that customers across East London receive the industry leading customer service that they expect from CCF as part of Travis Perkins plc. 

In this multi-drop driving role, you can expect to complete up to 10 drops per day across the East London region, giving you plenty of time to deliver a fantastic customer experience alongside your stock. With customers and branches all across the region, no two days will be the same as you undertake new journeys and meet new people - that's just another great part of working as a HGV driver with CCF.

You will often use a MOFFETT forklift or HIAB lorry-mounted crane for your deliveries, but don’t worry if you don’t have the appropriate licences – we’re happy to provide this training as part of your induction!

• You’ve got a Category C driving licence, up-to-date CPC records, and recent HGV experience
