What you’ll do

As the Data Analyst & BI Lead you will support the Head of Finance in driving the Group Data Strategy within TP Green & Gold.  You will work with teams around the business to manage their datasets and ensure that they have the skills required in their team to use the data to its full potential for driving value and decision making. As a part of this role you will become  the go-to person in finance for more advanced reporting requirements and data queries

Some accountabilities of the role:

- Collaborate with the BI/Data Engineering COE
- Support the implementation/rollout of a new reporting tool - Google Looker
- Analyse large data sets which will come from multiple sources, but also help others develop their skills in carrying out their own analysis. 
- Heading up the ‘Data Champions network with regular events to drive collaboration. 
- Provide Governance by ensuring data needs are met in an appropriate manner
- Help ‘Build the future’ by identifying new internal and external data sources. 
- Enable better discipline around using data to enable track business outcomes/ROI
- Be the expert in the data driven market! 

It would be great if you had experience in

You will need to come from an analytical role where you have had experience of managing large sets of data. Experience in a financial or commercial environment would be advantageous.

Due to the nature of the role you will need to be experienced with SQL as well as having advanced spreadsheet skills (Google or Excel). Knowing how to translate BI technical speak into user friendly language will be essential.

Along with the above you will be an excellent communicator, team player and with the desire to deliver results. Able to frame data and analytics with the leadership in terms of revenue growth, innovation, customer value and risk management; combining it with storytelling.
