We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Digital Content Editor to join our passionate team in Northampton. You’ll be responsible for helping define and deliver the digital content strategy, working closely with commercial team, suppliers, marketing and the wider digital team, to ensure all activities are aligned.

Key Accountabilities:
  • To support the eCommerce Manager in achieving the digital sales KPI's in a specific category, e.g. Doors, Landscaping..
  • Ensure all product information (including descriptions, price, features & benefits and imagery) on our websites is 100% optimised and accurate to drive online sales through all channels. Consideration of SEO is paramount.
  • Assist external digital agencies to manage SEO roadmap and updates
  • Conduct ongoing QA of templates, processes and platforms, and works to help advance email marketing capabilities
  • Creative and technical input on the migration of content to the new CMS, including layout, IA, content efficiency, and hands-on support to migrate existing content
  • Streamline existing content ensuring it meets brand and visual identity guidelines and drives the strategic priorities of the organisation
  • Ensure web content is findable, relevant to users, contains suitable imagery and meets accepted best practices in usability, accessibility and website design.
Ideally you’ll have
  • Experience of working with content management systems (Hippo, WordPress etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to produce written content, including editing and proofreading.
  • Strong digital content/communications knowledge, from strategy to execution and implementation.
