Forklift Driver - Wickes

As a Forklift Driver you will be in a key customer facing role.  Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a company vehicle you will assist in providing an effective delivery and collection service to the customers or branches.  You will make sure that the vehicle is loaded correctly, the supporting paperwork is carried and ensure that at all times the vehicle is driven and maintained to the standards laid down by the Road Transport / Traffic Legislation, and Company instructions.

What are we looking for?

Working on your own initiative, but recognising the importance of being a team member, your role is crucial to our commitment to a high quality service to our customers. In addition to holding an appropriate driving licence it would be desirable, but not essential, if you had previous experience in the operation of HIAB equipment and the transport of hazardous cargo,training will be given.
