HGV Class 1 Drivers - Days and Nights Tilbury

We’re recruiting for an LGV 1 Day and Night Driver to join our team who has a can do attitude towards getting the work done. Working from our 10 acre Range Centre site at the London Distribution Park in Tilbury you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a Company vehicle (Scania R460) ensuring it is maintained in line with company procedure and relevant legislation. Assisting in providing an exceptional night and next day delivery and collection service to over 100 local Travis Perkins branches, demonstrating reliability, flexibility and ensuring good self-presentation at all times. Some heavy lifting will be involved and as such you will need the ability to demonstrate the highest level of professionalism towards safety.

You will have a full UK driving licence with C+E category (Class 1) held for at least 2 years with recent experience as a HGV Class 1 Driver on multi drop work. No more than 6 points on your licence (no DR, DD or IN codes) and a full DQC (driver qualification card) and digi card.

Knowledge and understanding of tachograph legislation and digital tachograph experience, operating within current driving and working time legislation.
