Benchmarx Kitchens and Joinery have an opportunity for you to join our family as a Management Apprentice. Previous industry knowledge is not essential for this role, all we look for is an individual who is customer focused and the passion to take ownership of your own success. In return, we will provide the training and support you need to become an expert in our business with a flair for Kitchen Designer, and help our trade customers turn individual living spaces into unique, kitchen realities.
As a Management Apprentice, you’ll be at the heart of the business playing a vital role in delivering sales & profit towards the success of the branch. You will work closely with customers listening carefully to what they want and understand their needs. You’ll visit customers’ homes or building sites, draw up inspirational designs on CAD and present them to the customers. Whilst offering competitive quotes, you will use your negotiation skills to maximise sales for further growth on margin. Being a target driven role, you will manage and seek out your own sales leads. You will also be looking after all aspects of the branch with the manager Craig, ranging from health and safety to colleague management.
Hours of work: Our working hours also offer a great work life balance - your working week will be Monday to Friday 7.30am - 5.00pm and every other Saturday morning 8.00am-12.00pm
Salary: £Competitive + 22 days holiday plus bank holidays + discounts and access to health and wellbeing advice and support.
Location: This position will be based within your host branch (Hove Benchmarx)
How will we support you?
The 12 month apprenticeship programme teaches you to be a great kitchen designer within our business, pulling together CAD training, inspiration design and product knowledge training to provide our valued customers with the best possible service. Upon completion, you will be rewarded with a Level 3 Apprenticeship certificate for our first line manager programme.
Our Apprenticeships are focused on your development and factor study time into your working week, so you can achieve your qualification without affecting your work-life balance. We provide you with a fantastic support network through; 1:1 coaching, mentoring and technical and skills training to enable you to progress your career with us. Along the way, our experienced team will provide you with plenty of support to ensure you get the best out of your Apprenticeship. And it doesn’t have to end here, as we have a suite of Apprenticeship programmes that can support you to continue to develop your career with us, all the way up to the Boardroom.
