This involves building strong, long-term customer relationships, driving profitable revenue, and ensuring consistent account performance. The role requires a strategic approach to managing existing accounts, maximizing opportunities through cross-selling and upselling, and aligning solutions with client needs. Additionally, it involves continuously monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and customer demands to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities. By proactively developing innovative strategies, the aim is to deliver sustainable sales growth, strengthen market presence, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Some accountabilities of the role:

  • Management of customer relationships within Key Accounts/Tier 1 contractors at all levels from Buyer to Managing Director.

  • Keep ahead of the competitive landscape by consistently looking for strategic growth opportunities, using the project team and other tools to grow a pipeline of new projects and having early engagement on them.

  • To build up a network of supplier contacts and customer partnerships through regular contact at the appropriate levels.

  • Proactively target new business and increasing our customer portfolio within the tier 1 & 2 national accounts.

Mark of this would be joint field calls and regional meetings to discuss the accounts progress.
