Are you an experienced Store/Showroom Manager or a Kitchen Designer (ready to take the next step in your career), looking for a new opportunity, maybe a new sector. Then look no further we are currently looking for a Showroom Manager for our Benchmarx Wimbledon branch.  


As a Showroom Manager you will take the reins of our Benchmarx Showroom managing a Kitchen Designer, you will be based in our Wimbledon Travis Perkins branch.  We have a total of 19 colleagues, 5 delivery vehicles and a successful Tool Hire and Benchmarx Showroom.  This is a busy branch with a footfall of 110 Trade customers per day, the branch has a great atmosphere, vibrant and friendly, so you will be in great hands if joining out of sector.

Hours - Monday to Friday 7.30am - 5pm. NO WEEKEND WORK required!

Responsibilities:
  • People - You will lead, motivate and engage your team. Ensure that succession planning is being used. 
  • Customers - Developing strong relationships with branch customers across Benchmarx, Travis Perkins and suppliers in order to build profitable business growth.  
  • Looks after standards for safety, storage efficiency, housekeeping and ability of customers to find products they might want to buy.
  • Strategy - In conjunction with your management team across Benchmarx and Travis Perkins, you will need to develop a sales strategy which focuses on proactivity with existing customers and how to attract new ones.
  • Developing business interests - interacting with customers and representatives of associated industries.
  • Maintaining and enhancing profitability of the showroom. 

What experience do you need?
We are looking for transferable skills:  Supervisory experience, some Operational Management, Sales Experience and Great Customer Service. We don't mind what sector you come from!
