Due to growth plans, we have a new opportunity for a Stock Controller to join our Flagship branch in Workington. This flagship branch boasts a team of 43 and sits on a 2.5acre site.  We are looking for an experienced Stock Controller, but it doesn't matter what industry you come from as we will provide a great onboarding experience and and provide you with the product knowledge you need.

How important is this role to the business
Joining our friendly and hard working family as a Stock Controller, you will be working towards best in class inventory practices assisting to reduce and drive site accuracy giving an outstanding service to our Workington Branch driving stock availability and working together as a team and on your own initiative.

What experience do you need?
  • The successful candidate will have previous experience in a Stock Controller role and be able to work in a team or on their own initiate.
What will I be doing?
No one day is the same as the next in TP branch life, but here are a few pointers:
  • Our working opening hours are Monday to Friday 7.30am - 5pm and Saturday 8am - 12pm (you will be expected to work two Saturdays per month)
  • Must have a keen eye for detail as the role is not about speed, but accuracy and quality of work.
  • Have experience of working towards targets and be able to prioritise workload
  • Troubleshooting stock queries.
  • Reporting of stock KPI’s.
  • Creating daily inventory reports.
