We are now welcoming applications for a confident and charismatic Stock Manager to join our team at CCF Southampton.

What you will do

As a Stock Manager with CCF, you'll play a crucial role in the branch's success as you effectively manage stock levels to ensure that we can always go above and beyond to meet our customers' needs. Being responsible for stock flow will require you to develop and maintain impactful relationships across our supplier network, buying our SKUs at the correct pricing level and amending order volumes to suit the current stock levels. You'll need to keep a meticulously organised desk, monitoring documentation compliance, especially around the timber chain of custody.

A Stock Manager will need to develop a strong working knowledge of our product range, understanding the subtle variations between similar items to accurately buy the correct items from our suppliers, ensuring that the CCF product offering is as specialist as our customers' needs.

Who you are

• Proven experience in stock management, whether from a procurement/purchasing or inventory management background
• Meticulously organised, a natural at 'spinning plates' to maintain stock levels across a wide product range
• A fast learner, to gain a working understanding of a specialist product range
• Thorough with a strong work ethic, to self-motivate against high personal standards
• A strong customer service approach, able to carry the CCF sales culture through your interactions with customers
