Tool Hire Fitter/Maintenance Technician - Travis Perkins

We are currently looking for someone to join our family as a Tool Hire Fitter/Maintenance Technician to support the Tool Hire Service we deliver to our branch network

In this multi-skilled role you will be tasked with ensuring all hire equipment is safe for use, supplied with up to date safety induction leaflets and displays the relevant warning labels. Your attention to detail and accurate reporting skills will be essential when carrying out frequent maintenance checks and repairs on equipment and reporting any identified faults within a set time frame.

What are we looking for

• Previous experience of working in a similar role

• Ideally experience with another trade or retail supplier and product/range awareness/knowledge

• A good understanding of electrical, petrol and diesel equipment

• Excellent customer service skills with a customer focused attitude

• A team player

• Self motivated, confident and enthusiastic with a personal drive to achieve set targets and advocate continuous improvement
