Our Salford branch is looking for a Tool Hire Sales Assistant to join their team on the Tool Hire counter.  You’ll be on the front line dealing with our customers that come into our branch, playing a vital role in our continued success, providing a first class service and keeping colleagues and customers safe at all times.

Our Salford branch is what we call a Flagship branch, it has a successful Tool Hire, Benchmarx Showroom, its a busy branch with over 30 colleagues with 7 delivery vehicles, with a footfall of 140 plus Trade customers a day, most we know on a first name basis.  This is a great team to join, the branch has a energetic, fun and professional atmosphere that will provide you with all the support you need.  Worth noting that this branch is relocating in 2023 less than 2 miles away and will become our largest branch in the North and Scotland region.

Hours - Monday to Friday 7am - 4.30pm and Saturday’s 8am - 12pm (you will only need to work 2 Saturdays in 4)

What will I be doing?
No one day is the same as the next in TP branch life, and now that you have a new found knowledge of our products, here are a few pointers:
  • With your learned knowledge of the products and services we offer, you will be a pivotal contact for our customers, nurturing great relationships, understanding their needs in order to offer expert advice and recommending alternatives to profitably maximise the sale of goods.
  • Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, so you will need to adhere and be compliant to all Tool Hire processes and procedures including all Tool Hire audits and inspections.
  • You will support your Tool Hire Manager in managing all aspects of their department and business.
What experience do you need?
Experience is not needed in this role, full training will be provided.  This is a key customer facing role, you just need the ability to provide great customer service, we can teach you the rest.
