We are looking for a Manager to join our Transport team in Croydon!

Where you’ll be working?
Croydon is a busy but successful branch. Our branch includes a large fleet of 7 HGV's and 1 Van for customer deliveries. This is a fast paced role and requires someone with experience managing a large fleet and high daily delivery volumes.
What will you be doing?
No one day is the same as the next in CCF branch life, but here are a few pointers:
Responsible for the compliance and efficient management of the branch transport operation and the improvement of driver standards
Responsible for ensuring full compliance for vehicles and drivers, the reporting and management of accidents
Meeting agreed Transport/Fleet targets - utilisation and capacity targets
Planning / routing deliveries
You’ll be a true leader, capable of developing and motivating your direct reports
You’ll need to coach your team and make sure they provide a first‐class, professional service
Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, your aim will be to ensure that our standards never slip, by adhering to all stay safe policies and procedures. Including checking that Drivers comply with the law and that vehicles are inspected in line with company and governing body procedures
What experience do you need?
To succeed, you’ll need to be the kind of colleague who:
Proven experience of managing a large transport fleet
Creates high‐performing, engaged and motivated teams
Advantageous to have an understanding of CPC driver modules
Along with having the ability to provide great customer service and have experience in a similar role, we can teach you the rest.
