Van Driver - Barking

Looking to start your career but don't know where to look? Do you enjoy working as part of a team, do you like driving, then we may have the role for you, we are looking for a Van Driver for our Tool Hire department.  You don't need to come from our sector or even know our products, as long as you have the ability to provide great customer service, we will support you with a great onboarding experience and encourage you onto our TP development scheme. 

As a Tool Hire Driver you will start by driving customers products to site and collecting, once you have been fully trained, you will get involved in repairing, testing tools and equipment to the Tool Hire standard. 

Hours - Monday to Friday 6am - 3.30pm we don't work Saturdays or Bank holidays !  

Please note that applicants need to have a valid driving license, a van will be provided during working hours to deliver out products.

We opened our Tool Hire Hub in Barking, East London in June, based on River Road, its a really busy Hub bit like a distribution Centre, we only deliver our products to customers, they don't visit our Hub. We deliver between 25 - 30  orders a day plus collections.  Our Branch Manager has created a team environment, a family that works together in a fun and professional environment, there is a lot of experience in this branch, so you will be in safe hands!.

What will I be doing? No one day is the same as the next in TP Hub/Branch life, but with your new found knowledge and experience, here are a few pointers:

• Delivering and collecting a wide variety of tools & equipment to our customers.
• You will support your Branch Manager in managing all aspects of their department and business
• Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, so you will need to adhere and be compliant to all Tool Hire processes and procedures.

• We are looking for someone that has a great attitude to learning, is a team player and has willingness to get involved.
