Do you enjoy working as part of a team, do you like helping people, then we may have the role for you, a Warehouse Assistant / Van Driver.  You don't need to come from our sector or even know our products, as long as you have the ability to provide great customer service, we will support you with a great onboarding experience. 

We, at TF Solutions, part of BSS and the Travis Perkins Group, are looking for an Warehouse Assistant / Van Driver.  This is a great branch to really understand how TF Solutions branches operate and you don't need to come from our sector or know our products.

Opening Hours - Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm and Friday 8am - 4:30pm

Location: Stretton Business Park, Brunel Drive, Stretton, Burton upon Trent, DE13 0BY

As we continue to grow our business, we’re looking for a Warehouse Assistant / Van Driver to join our team in the Burton branch and support us to establish ourselves as leaders in the market.  This is a new branch, with a new team, so an exciting time to join and progress your career, if you choose.

What will I be doing?

No one day is the same as the next in branch life with TF Solutions, but with your new found product knowledge and onboarding, here are a few pointers:
Candidates need to be 18yrs or over, as you will be driving a forklift, but don't worry full training is provided.
As part of the Warehouse team, you will be on the front line dealing with our customers that come into our Trade Counter, greeting customer, supporting with their orders, loading and unloading customer and company vehicles.
Our success is built on strong relationships with our customers so it’s essential that you can help deliver the highest standards of service - the key thing is to be helpful and friendly at all times.
You will also unload our air conditioning and ancillary products from supplier deliveries and accurately book them into our warehouse.  

Who are we looking for?
  • You’ll have a great worth ethic, be a team player and work closely with your branch colleagues to get the job done 
  • You’ll be physically active, this role may involve lifting heavy materials and use of manual handling equipment, such as forklift
  • You’ll have friendly and outgoing personality, someone that is happy to communicate face to face with customers and build strong relationships
  • Someone who thrives in a dynamic and fast paced environment that has a thirst for learning
