The role

Come and join Andrew and the team at Portsmouth BSS who are all delivering a great service to our customers. We have a lot of regular long standing customers together with the new ones and the ones we see less frequently - but we strive to deliver an exceptional experience to every single one of them.

Our Warehouse Assistants must bring a “can do” attitude along with flexibility - every day is different! One minute you will be loading vehicles ready for the drivers to deliver to a range of different places, other days you will be unloading huge supplier deliveries, picking orders or serving customers on the trade counter. The role calls for someone who enjoys working with people and has the enthusiasm it takes to deliver more than just goods, but a fantastic service too. 

The person

This is a customer facing role, the way in which you represent the company is just as important as the products you will pick, sell and deliver. A positive attitude and professional manner is a must. A confident customer focused demeanour is essential as is the passion to deliver a great service with your team colleagues every day. Ideally you will have warehouse experience or have a background in face to face customer service. But above all you will be personable, have a desire to learn and have a motivated work ethic.
