Yard Assistant - Keyline

The role

Whatever the weather, as a Yard Assistant you’ll serve our customers and complete all necessary paperwork accurately to make sure they are absolutely satisfied with the products they buy and the service they receive. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring the safe and correct movement of materials around the branch. This will include loading and unloading customer and company vehicles, offloading supplier deliveries into stock and picking orders. Most of the role will include the use of a counterbalance fork lift truck but there will be occasions when manual lifting may be required.

What we are looking for

This is a key customer facing role, so you will need great interpersonal skills. A fork lift truck license would be desirable, however not essential as training can be provided. What we are looking for is someone with a friendly and flexible personality who is happy to communicate face to face with customers.
