We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join the BSS finance team. If you have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices with a commercial focus, as well as experience in business partnering, budgeting and reporting, then we want to hear from you!
This role will be hybrid working from home and once a week in the BSS Crosspoint Coventry office, CV2 2TU.
What you’ll do:
To provide support to the BSS Ireland Business (Legal Entity), ensuring the delivery of the long term goals of the business. Whilst ensuring financial cadence around the results and completing an audit for the legal entity.
You will be required to travel to Ireland (once or twice a year) a valid passport will be required.
Some accountabilities of the role:
Ensure strong financial controls and management of the Ireland business
Satisfactorily completing the audit in a timely manner
Assisting the Finance Manager with the consolidation into the wider BSS Group
Completing both Forecasts and Budgets for the Ireland entity
To act as a business partner and support local management
Act as BSS Finance representative on various group projects, including IT Systems and a branch relocation / investment
Supporting both AP and AR as part of the financial controls
Controlling the cash position for the Ireland entity, to ensure good cash control management
Is this you?
Qualified or Qualified by experience Accountant
Experience of Multi site branch operations business
Ability to work across business areas
Builders Merchant Experienced (desired)
Having been part of a large system implementation project (desired)
Experience of contract support (desired)
Experience of modern ERPs system (desired)
Experience of Contract support, Rebates and Stock accounting (desired)
