Our Primaflow F&P Network have an exciting opportunity for a Transport manager.  Join our fast paced business and friendly team, where we work hard to simply delivering more for our customers and colleagues.

The role we're recruiting for:

A Transport manager to provide the highest level of service delivering excellence to our customers, You must have experience in transport compliance, route planning and are expected to advocate Health and safety on site. 

This role will be to manage the Transport operation located in our regional distribution centre in Wakefield  You will manage a fleet of local vehicles and drivers along with servicing our Transhipment points located in the north 

We are looking for an experienced Transport supervisor ready to take the next step in their career or an energetic transport manager ready to bring experience and focus to our operation.

You will be responsible for:

- Health and safety of yourself, colleagues and customers.
- Managing vehicle maintenance and condition.
- Delivering the highest level of customer service to our customers.
- To comply and manage transport compliance law and regulations.
- Planning and optimising your routes
- Coaching and managing your team
- Effectively manage cost 
- Implement and execute processes 

It would be great if you had:

- Previous experience in the Transport industry, a managers CPC is desired but not essential 
Good geographical knowledge of the north  of england
